Firstly, Walcot Green is not a village and doesn't have a green! It is the name of a hamlet, and more than one road is called Walcot Green...confusing eh! The maps below will help.

You may wish to enter Rookery Nook Holiday Cottage on Google Maps, the marker is pretty accurate. However, what look like several “no through road” spurs off our road are actually long driveways to houses, so don’t be confused by this.

• If you come onto Walcot Green by driving under the narrow railway bridge, from Sawmills Road passing the Business Park, Rookery Nook will be found on your RIGHT. Turn right immediately after going under the railway bridge. Continue to follow this road, with a sharp left hand corner (DO NOT be tempted to go straight ahead here). Look out for the sign clearly visible on the roadside (see photo opposite). Pull into the driveway via the first entrance and park in front of the five bar gate.

• If you come into Walcot Green from Diss, via Walcot Road, we are located on the LEFT. Walcot Road morphs seemlessly into Walcot Green as you drive out of town - look out for tennis courts on the right as a marker as you leave Diss., followed by Walcot Hall Nursing Home also on the right. Further on, DO NOT be tempted to turn left onto a road signed Walcot Green, this is a red herring for finding us, carry straight on by! Look out for our house signs that are clearly visible from the roadside (see photo opposite) after the long line of huge plane trees. Pull into the driveway via the SECOND driveway entrance and park in front of the five bar gate.

If you use a sat nav postcode to use is IP22 5SR, although this can be slightly misleading. Be sure to read our instructions above.
